There's an official Yachtski scale, which is maintained by the crew at Yacht Rock. Our mixes have a lot of Yacht Rock, but will include music considered to be nyacht, specially the future yacht mixes. Nyacht is anything below 50 on the Yachtski scale and does not fall into the certified yacht rock category.
Future yacht is more about establishing a mood on the yacht, maybe sipping Robert Mondavi shore side? It's about the journey and tipping the hat to classic yacht rock and soft rock.
